Faceter Lap Nut

New lap holddown nut for Jean's facetor. This one is taller and has a conical section on the bottom which centers the lap. Made from one inch T6061-T6 aluminum round.

Math, measuring and some fudging to get the conical section to work out. Knurler worked well, does even better when the tool post doesn't move :-).
