Correction 06/05/07 - sandstone should have read soapstone. Fixed.

Machining a mold into a soapstone block. Worked well with a 1/8" carbide endmill.

Forgot to mention that I used the Micro-Mark laser edge/center finder to set up the job. Worked really well. Please I got it now.

Painted in some borax water (flux) and poured in the metal and apparently the water had penetrated the soapstone and the heat caused it to turn into steam and break out a side. This is how we learn :-).
