QCTP tool holders - First attempt. In process.

The dovetail slot could be smaller - will correct on the next one.

Update: Monday, 25 September 2006:

First one is finished. Far from perfect, but probably still usable. Dovetail width is wider than it should be and the adjusting screw / post got drilled deeper than it should have been. Fun, useful and educational - hard to beat all that :-)!

Learned much from this exercise that will benefit me on future ones. First thing I am going to do is measure everything again, not sure how things got off as "far" as they did.

Update: 09/30/06:
Finished tool holders #2 and #3 today. #2 is better than #1 and #3 is better overall than #2 :-). Learning and learning to use the mill better. This has been a good project and useful too, even the "junker" (#1). Now to take a couple days off and let my wrists get over all the cranking :-).

Note to self: Remember to set camera to tugnsten light!
